Briar Hill Health Care Residence is located in beautiful Geauga County, in the quaint village of Middlefield, Ohio. Established in 1966, we provide a full spectrum of health care services to those living in Cleveland’s eastern suburbs, as well as Lake, Ashtabula, Geauga, Cuyahoga, Portage, Summit and surrounding counties. Our campus is surrounded by sidewalks and tall trees and is described by visitors as friendly, warm and welcoming.
Middlefield Village was settled in 1799. Located 35 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio, the surrounding village encompasses 1700 acres. Agriculture is still a primary means to living here, found in horse breeding, dairy farming and crop production. Our village is home to one of the largest Amish Settlements in the country. Experience one of our popular restaurants that feature “Amish Style” cooking or sample our famous and delicious Middlefield cheese. Local and State parks, historical sites and nationally known theme parks showcase our beautiful landscape.
Owned and managed by the same family for over 50 years… In this age of corporate-based facilities, Briar Hill Health Care Residence proudly continues the tradition of being family owned and managed. We are committed to providing a comfortable, home-like atmosphere to our family of guests – an environment that meets their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
A Belief In Caring, Compassion and Respect…We believe that the care given to every resident should, in every way, strive to create a special sense of family between our staff and those entrusted to our care. We believe in achieving and maintaining the highest quality of life for all our residents. Large doses of kindness, care, empathy and concern are among the most important aspects of our nursing and rehabilitative services. Our attention to details, large and small, ensure our residents enjoy the best quality of life possible. We consider it a privilege to serve your family.
