Specialized nursing services at Briar Hill Health Care Residence are provided through the attention of our Medical Director, private physicians, skilled nurses and other healthcare professionals. Intermediate, skilled nursing care and rehabilitative services are provided 24 hours a day. Specialized services for short or long-term residents provided by our professional staff include intravenous therapy, tracheotomy care, wound care, hospice and respite care, stroke rehabilitation, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. An individualized restorative nursing program enables residents to maintain optimum functional levels when comprehensive therapies are not indicated. Outpatient therapy is also available.

Attractive wall coverings and carpeting, recessed lighting and comfortable seating areas provide a welcome ambiance. Menus are planned by our registered dietitian to ensure that meals are both nutritious and appealing. Our large and bright Activity Center, staffed with an Activities Director and assistants, offers residents creative leisure activities that provide the opportunity for short day trips, musical performances, arts and crafts, socialization and meaningful classes.
