Volunteers greatly enhance the lives of our residents at Briar Hill Health Care Residence. Our goal is to keep us and our residents involved in our community by regularly scheduling outings and programs to enrich our minds and our social interests. Won’t you join us? Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Are you interested in…

• Leading travelogues, discussion groups or book reviews?
• Sharing hobbies – knitting, crocheting, quilting, coin collecting, antiques, woodworking or ceramics?
• Performing musically, starting a rhythm band, or leading musical programs?
• Playing bingo, scrabble, dominos, cards, puzzles or other games?
• Reading to a resident one-on-one or to a group?
• Leading a Bible study or assisting with a church services?
• Individual one-on-one visits with a resident, or bringing pets or children to visit?
• Teaching a class – flower arranging, scrapbooking, arts or crafts?
• Assisting with holiday events, outings, restaurant and shopping trips or picnics?
